Invalid Certificate on every secured website

Hi,

I've just updated to 10.7.4 with Safari 5.1.7 and after the update I'm always getting an Invalid Certificate for secured website.

www.paypal.com

every banking sites

etc

The content is not entirely loaded even if I click "continue".

I don't know if it related but I can't install any Extensions in Safari. I had ClickToFlash and 1Password and neither can be reinstalled after the update. I got a message telling me that the extension cannot be installed.

Thank you

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I am getting this problem today on Paypal.com. Very annoying. Other sites, e.g., Hotmail, Google, all work fine. I've checked my date, reset my default keychain, and cleared the cache on my iMac 2011 running 10.11 El Capitan. The only thing that works is to reset my WiFi router, and then I can get to Paypal.com for about 2 minutes before I get the "This Connection is Untrusted" message again.

Problem occurs all browsers, i.e., Chrome, FF, Safari...

Any other thoughts? I've contacted eBay, and Paypal both, and they report no issues.

I keep getting different certs back when I reset my Wifi router. At first it was reporting the cert (from Paypal) was only valid for various google domains. The current one reports this:

The certificate is only valid for the following names: stats.paypal.com, a.stats.paypal.com, b.stats.paypal.com, c.stats.paypal.com, d.stats.paypal.com, baas.stats.paypal.com, sjc.stats.paypal.com, slc.stats.paypal.com, slc2.stats.paypal.com, phx.stats.paypal.com, lvs.stats.paypal.com, tms.stats.paypal.com, origin-tms.stats.paypal.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

Alternately, I get this returned in my browser (using FF):

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

www.paypal.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for www.paypalobjects.com

I have no idea what's going on, maybe it's something strange going on inside of Time Warner Cable?

Today I get this error from FF:

www.paypal.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: shopping.billmelater.com, ppcredit.shopping.billmelater.com, ebaycredit.shopping.billmelater.com, apply.billmelater.com, billmelater.com, www.bill-me-later.com, bill-me-later.com, www.billmelater.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

Hi, I had this problem now for a while and couldn't figure out why it's telling me on every application and browser that the certificate being used to connect is invalid. Checked my Keychain access, restarted a couple of times and read many blogs. Still, no luck... then I tried using different browsers on my mac to connect to different sites. Google Chrome gave me a warning that my date is set wrong, so I checked and the date was wrong but the time is correct... weird, right? So I switched off the automatic date and time setting, changed the time manually and restarted. When I logged back on, within seconds my mac started receiving emails, notifications and everything was back to normal again. I guess when my battery drained completely a few days ago, my date and time reseted which effected the certificate expiration dates... I might be wrong, and this might sound really stupid, but by simply changing the date to manual fixed my mac!

I have the same problem. I'm trying to get to a page at my school where I can see what credits I still need to take, but it won't let me on to the site because the certificate is invalid. It works just fine on my iPhone and iPad (I haven't updated either yet, will it stop working when I do?) but I can't get to it on my computer. Class registration is due on October 3rd, and I would really like to be able to do this on my computer instead of relying on my tiny phone or freezing iPad.
