AT 6:55 Eastern, iCloud email is not working again in the New York, Long Island area. Why has iCloud email been so unreliable? This failure has been happening on a regular basses. Please, if anyone with a vast Apple knowledge has any advice I'm open to suggestions.

Same problem, email has not been working since May 10th. It comes on and off the last few days. How frustrating and the system states it is working again and that there was a limit amount of people having issues. Seriously. Apple fix the problem.

London, UK. Mine came back on Saturday, after 4 days offline, and has been fine ever since - so there is hope. Although I am not counting my chickens just yet. I am expecting more problems while they move every one over to the cloud – especially, by the looks of it, in the US where they have the most users. Sorry Septics, but you do get everything first, too ;-)
Warning. I did log out and back in again and it did take a few hours to re-synch and re-import all my old mail before it allowed any new mail to come through (this could cause the spinning ball of death on weaker machines), but, once that was done, all was fine. Fingers crossed and good luck.

Again not able to get mail. I was able to get mail on 12th.
FYI, in SoCal. Apple please fix this.
Same problem here, again, in Costa Rica.
Down yet again in Chicago. But just one of my icloud addresses. Not both.
Status report at the moment says everything's working, but that there were outages yesterday impacting 12% of users.
Me too here in SF Bay Area. Oy. I was blaming it on my old Mac, but obviously it's not the hardware.
Can someone explain why the only email I am receiving are occasional notifications from this strand????????

it doesn't appear to be resolved for my email account on either the macbook pro, the ipad or on the web in New Orleans

After fixing the problem by changing the password and resetting devices , I got troubles again with my Mac.mail !
It seem to be a serious problem as it goes and comes again continuously ! Wonder will Apple reimburse all these thousands of customers for loosing the connection and not being able to work for a week ......, or at least give us their excuses of wasting our money !
I am on the east coast - email was down all day friday, came back friday night and just went down this morning around 10:30. What a pain in the *&$!!!!
