Email on iCloud not working, AGAIN

AT 6:55 Eastern, iCloud email is not working again in the New York, Long Island area. Why has iCloud email been so unreliable? This failure has been happening on a regular basses. Please, if anyone with a vast Apple knowledge has any advice I'm open to suggestions.

same here. i called Apple support this morn and they said "everything looks fine here, just keep trying and maybe call back tomorrow if it's still not working" AGGGHHH!!!! I want it to work NOW!! I received mail until about 9:30 am CST this morning. It's not working on my Macbook Pro or my iPhone. PLEASE APPLE!! GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!

I tried resetting my password, rebooting my computer and iphone and nothing works so I am convinced that this is Apple's problem and not mine.

The problem has returned here in Southern California. This situation has not risen to the level of news on the internet, so it may actually be confined to a very small percentage of iCloud users, as Apple claims. If you try to load your email on iCloud.com, you will get the endless spinning gear icon. if you let it spin long enough, you will get an opportunity to report the outage to Apple. Might be worth doing, as it helps them know the extent of the problem. I have done so.

Gary, I saw my mail on icloud.com for about 30 seconds. Now it's down again. Can't get to it on my iPhone or iPad. Apple added earlier issue affected 12 percent of customers on status page, but they call it solved. It's clearly not solved. This happened to me last week too.

I'm 99.8 percent of the way there to switching completely to gmail. I know that statement comes up every time this happens, but getting no updates from Apple is the last straw for me. The worst part is figuring out all of the places that use this email and try to update them accordingly. That's the .2 percent of me that doesn't want to be bothered, but I have to do it.

I am in the UK and have this issue too. At first I thought it was a keychain issue and have wasted a couple of hours over the course of the day resetting passwords and deleting and reinstalling mail accounts. They work for a few minutes then go down again.

Error: The iCloud IMAP server “p02-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user.

I am not reassured that the problem is only affecting 1% of customers if I am one of the 1% - I wish it was affecting 99% then Apple might hurry up and fix it!

Kansas City is back up, today anyway.

I sure hope these problems with iCloud and Siri are not a sign of things to come. (yes, I know they're BETA, but when they discontinued @me we didn't have a choice but depend on the cloud, and I've just given up on Siri)

The only problem I've ever had with a Mac product before this was back when I had an old Apple TV, everything else I've ever owned has been flawless.

If Mac doesnt keep the quaility of its products top notch no amount of "cool-ness" ala Justin Long will keep Apple at the top of the heap.
