I need a new battery for my iphone 3gs. I installed a iphone 3g battery in my iphone 3gs 16g. My ios is 5.1.1 my model number is A1303. dose anyone know what the apn number on the batter i need is? thank you for your help.
iPhone 3GS needs 3GS battery, a 3G battery will not work correctly. The best option is to replace the battery with the same APN (apple part number) that it originally came with. If that cannot be determined or that APN cannot be purchased, then most find success replacing with 3GS battery with APN: 616-0435. Before opening and during all repairs of iPhone 3GS make sure it is OFF.
thank you so much, I didnt know about the apn till after i put the battery in the trash and i was taken to the landfild. i got the battery off ebay, im in the of trying to get a refund so i can get a 3gs battery.
