Thanks, now the subquestion is how?:
The Apple Cinema display 23" has no power cord, takes its power from the ADC connector?
Is the mini DVI connection powerfull enough to feed a 23" display?
Is there a ADC to mini DVI connector available?
An ADC monitor may be connected to a DVI equipped machine by using a DVI to ADC display adapter, now only available used on eBay.

You will need an additional adapter to connect the mini-DVI port to a DVI connector.
