Trascend sdhc express card adapter & MacBook Pro 2011

Hi all,

i purchased this product:

http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-Express-Reader-UHS-1-TS-RDF1/dp/B0054VVRBQ

I'd like to use it instead of external USB SD Card reader, but the Express Card Reader is not correctly recognized by my MacBook 17" early 2011. If i insert an SD card in the slot ,the SD does not appear as mounted disk on the desktop. Nothing. I tryied three different SD Cards. Only Express card adapter is recognized by Mac,there is a small icon in the bar:

Sorry,it is in italian language. Grayed out: "Basic System Device",and on the bottom "Disable device".

I'd like to know if there is a way for fix my problem

My OS is Lion 10.7.4.

Thanks,

Lamberto from Italy.

I just bought this model, and installed a fresh copy of the driver...it doesn't work. When installing I get the following error:

Then the installer finished "successfully."

When I restart and put in the expresscard, it detects that it is in, but when I put in an SD card, it does nothing.

Any ideas??

I'm running the following

Mac OSC Lion 10.7.4

8GB Ram

Core i7

Thanks!
