Thanks this worked for me. In fact it worked twice. Once for syncing and secondly for correcting a problem with iPhoto Library Manager ( I could not see my iPhoto Library). I use iPhoto Library Manager to save iPhotos by albums to a separate hard drive. This costs $, but it is important to me.
In any case, after much searching, I found the my problem in a slideshow with music. I deleted the slideshow (one I had on my computer for over a year) and the result was I could sync and see my iPhoto library in Library Manager.
Thanks to all. ps, apple must fix the recent iPhoto update.
Download and install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update, which was just released today. It may be the answer to your problems:
Be sure that neither iTunes nor iPhoto is running when you install the iPhoto 9.4.1 update. After installing the update, then restart iTunes and iPhoto. By default, "All photos" is selected. Change this (it's no longer grayed out) to "Selected albums..." and you should be OK.
Wow! Thanks for the info. It looks like the update worked. This is much better than the "search and destroy" method I was using.
