Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

am i the only one having problems with mainstage 2.2.1 and lion 10.7.4?

Mainstage crashing , cpu spiking, and a couple of new things - the cpu panel in mainstage started flashing white before the last crash and if you edit the EX24 inside mainstage, it keeps asking if you want to save but won't let you. Anyone else had these sort of problems? have tried to eliminate any potential problems like cpu heavy AU,s, changed M audio settings (now much more latency) still crashes when I actually play any smudges or fast riffs (Yes, I still pretend to be keith Emerson!) Now looking at hardware solutions again as mainstage is now IMHO not stable enough for gigging.

Come on Apple sort out the bugs please.

No, 10.7.4 broke MainStage. Go back to 10.7.3 e.g. via your Time Machine backup and the problems are gone.

Contact this address below and request a new download, and that the one you have does not open or it crash whe doing so.

They open up my account and allowed me to reinstall.

My redowndloaded Mainstage is now working on my MacB Pro, and four [4] externals, with out any problems.

Hope this will help others, who are having a problem with Mainstage v 2.2.1

I have redownloaded Mainstage 2.2.1 and the it stil crashes after 30min or something like that. under osx 10.7.3 everything worked fine. but now it's realy messed up and i think i will downgrade to snow loepard as i dont't have a time machine backup of my 10.7.3 system. i hope this will work out other wise i heve to leave mainstage and switch back to hardware as the software is fare from relieble

Additional confirmation that removing "CPU/MIDI/Memory meter display" fixes crashes:

I ran Mainstage for 36 hours solid but dipped in and out of Sibelius, Safari and Netflix (something any sane person wouldn't do during a gig!) - no problems with Mainstage, even waking from sleep OK.

Hope that helps!

I think it is something that has definitely occurred after the latest update, and I hope it's fixed soon. Somehow, starting up is a problem. I have found that if I can open a "new" project, and from there open up any file I normally use, I have no problems. If I open the file directly it will crash every time.
