am i the only one having problems with mainstage 2.2.1 and lion 10.7.4?

They open up my account and allowed me to reinstall.

My redowndloaded Mainstage is now working on my MacB Pro, and four [4] externals, with out any problems.

I have redownloaded Mainstage 2.2.1 and the it stil crashes after 30min or something like that. under osx 10.7.3 everything worked fine. but now it's realy messed up and i think i will downgrade to snow loepard as i dont't have a time machine backup of my 10.7.3 system. i hope this will work out other wise i heve to leave mainstage and switch back to hardware as the software is fare from relieble

I got a hint from a friend, that seems to fix this problem:

Control-Click into the toolbar of MainStage, select "Customize" and remove the CPU/MIDI/Memory meter display.

If you want to add some additional safety: switch MainStage to 64-bit mode.

Blueberry's hint worked for me in the last rehearsal. Mainstage did not crash. hopefully it will run the same on stage as in the rehearsal studio.

I am sticking with 10.7.3 since I read many posts with this problem...

No pearls of wisdom from me but I thought I would add my name to the list of users with a problem following the update. iMac running 10.7.4 crashes, Mbp on 10.7.3 is more stable but still getting random pu spikes which I can't track the source :( c'mon Apple, sort it please!!

Just confirming that removing "CPU/MIDI/Memory meter display" on the edit page fixes the crashes and all the problems that came with 10.7.4.

I ran Mainstage for 36 hours solid but dipped in and out of Sibelius, Safari and Netflix (something any sane person wouldn't do during a gig!) - no problems with Mainstage, even waking from sleep OK.

Played a casino last night. Had to restart MS 4 times before giving up and running keys direct.

Backing up on time machine, then gonna try a couple things.

Before 10.7.4 all was good. I hate going backwards, so we'll see.

I think it is something that has definitely occurred after the latest update, and I hope it's fixed soon. Somehow, starting up is a problem. I have found that if I can open a "new" project, and from there open up any file I normally use, I have no problems. If I open the file directly it will crash every time.

Wouldn't it be nice to have some official advice or instructions from Apple instead of relying on hints and forum banter? I would like to install OSX 10.7.4, but won't because I rely on MainStage for live performances. Has there been any word from Apple on this?

I am getting this problem as well now. Has anyone figured out a trick to avoid it yet since last post?? I am running Mainstage 2.1.3 32-bit on a Mac Pro 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo, 8Gb ram. It mainly happens with Soft Instruments that are sampled in things like the ESX24.
