Cannot log into support communities
I'm having the same problem as this person when trying to log into these forums (I'm currently using another AppleID to post this).
- I enter my password, and get this message: "Please sign in again. For added security, we need to reconfirm your Apple ID."
- I enter the password again, and then I get a page telling me to "pick a user name" as if my account doesn't exist.
- I enter login details and get this message: "An account utilizing this email address already exists. Only one account per email address is allowed on Apple Support Communities."
So one minute I don't have an account, the next I do!?!?! I can't work out how to identify what account already has my user ID. The locating accounts process sends me an email telling me how to reset password which I don't need to do.
The irony being the only place with any reports of this issue is on these forums which you can't access without a community account so I've had to register an alternative Apple ID to access it!
Someone please help?
