Music and videos that don't sync are usually because they came from a different iTunes account than the phone is signed into or, if non-iTunes store material, there are DRM restrictions.

There's no way anyone here can determine the exact problem and solution based on the very limited info in your post.

Where did I tell you to see iTunes? What gave you the idea thay you are my customer? As for "stupid", you said it, I didn't.

The message is what I'm referring to. " See I Tunes" where in iTunes is there a report on items that '" x items could not be synced see iTunes ".

Is there a report of actual items any where on my computer?

Modular77: With respect the dialog on the iPhone 'XX items could not be synced. See iTunes for more information.' , would you happen to know where to look in iTunes? I looked in all the places that seemed logical to me.

I am, however, asking only for future reverence, as the initial sync which generated the error dialog was done via USB, and almost immediately after the USB sync, I ran a WiFi Sync—two in a row in fact—both initiated from the iPhone. Both WiFi syncs completed successfully with no error dialog.

I then ran another USB sync initiated from iTunes on the Macintosh, as was the first sync which gave the error. This second USB sync also completed successfully with no errors.

I think someone in this thread mentioned non-AppleStore products or DMR issues which I think could not have been an issue in my case, as I was running the sync to install updated Apps from the AppStore, and additionally had deleted some music and movie items to make sure there was room for the App updates. Nothing was added other than the recently downloaded App updates from the AppStore.

Thanks for any info or advice. Problem IS now solved, but it absorbed a lot of time to reach that point.

Still no reply to an obviouse resonable question. I guess because everyone gave we should to.

Look in the iTunes on the computer to which you sync the iDevice.

In the left hand column, there should be a yellow triangle with an

exclamation point [!] next to the iDevice. Click on that and it will

give you a list of items that could not be synced - at least that is how

it works on my iMac with iPhone & iPad. Do you get the warning icon

in the iTunes on the computer to which you sync?

I looked but there is no colum with such a mark although there is an Item colums and others,, Can I alter the settings to display this, can I restore default dispaly etc? ? I looked in the "view" settings but I see no "error " or simlar item to check to ON

Next to the device name near the battery looking symbol you will see a triangle with a exclamation mark in it. Click on that and it will display what items could not be synced, why they could not, example, (unsupported mp4 format) and an option to disable future warnings. At least you will not what file was not synced and do something about it if you wish.

P.S. I find the other USELESS and condemning remarks about as helpful as the people that write them. What is with some of you? Does condemnation bring you great satisfaction?

I have reset warnings and still no triangle appears or has that i can recall.

Any sugestions would be appreciated.

It seems that these things take a LONG TIME to get responded to and there for frustrated.

When you do a reset the triangle will disappear. The warning will show up after a sync, don't acknowledge it, go straight to the iTunes menu and look for the triangle.
