No matter you just lost your iPhone or you still hold it in your hand, don't connect or sync it with iTunes after you lost your contacts, to prevent the backup file from being updated and replaced by the contacts on your iPhone now.

If you have synced different iDevices with iTunes before, there will be more than one backup files, after you click "Recover from iTunes Backup File" on the top of the primary window. Choose the one for your iPhone and click "Start Scan". Then move further.

Actually, recover deleted contacts from iPhone is not hard to do.

As I know, you have two kinds of recovery mode: to recover data directly from the iOS device and to retrieve previous data by extracting it from iTunes and iCloud backup with iPhone Data Recovery!

If you backup to cloud, this method will help you.

The difficulty in restoring iCloud data from a back up is that the back up is older than the current version on iCloud and anything that is restored gets removed again when an iCloud sync occurs.

1. Ensure the device is connected to your local network.

2. Start the restore from iCloud back up.

3. Allow the devices settings to restore (watch for the confirmation of completion).

4. As the apps begin to restore pull the connection to your router WAN port (the one that goes to the telephone point).

5. Wait for the time out confirmation.

6. Navigate to settings > iCloud and turn off contact syncing (keep contacts when prompted).

Reconnect the router to the internet and let the restore process complete.

7. Delete any iCloud contacts from iCloud.com on a computer.

Navigate to settings > iCloud and turn on contact syncing (merge contacts when prompted).

There are two ways to Recover deleted photos from iPhone 4S

1. Directly scan and recover photos from iPhone 4S

a) Connect your iPhone to the computer

b) Enter DFU mode and scan iPhone

c) Preview and recover iPhone photos

2. Scan and extract iTunes backup to recover iPhone photos

a) Scan your iTunes backup for iPhone 4S

b) Preview and recover iPhone photos

c) Do backup well

Hi, i lost my iPhone and i desperately needed my data back. luckily, i had a backup saved on my pc. through google, i found these guys claiming to be able to view your lost contacts without iPhone. I couldn't get it working, but they have a live chat system, which helped me get through the process. so yeah, it is possible, and it was definately worth it in my case, even though it's not free though.

hmmm this is what you're looking for, if I understand your question properly. If you lost your iPhone, you may have an iTunes backup somewhere...that program allows you to export your iTunes backup, including your contacts to your PC/MAC/Laptop.

Other than that, if you're phone is gone, your data is gone. I'm sorry to say, but: you CANNOT get it back.
