My songs from iTunes won't sync onto my iPhone

I recently had a library on a desktop computer and I moved all those songs from that library onto my new macbook, then got more songs afterwards.

Everytime I try to sync my songs onto my iPhone, I get an error message that says "iTunes could not copy "(song name)" to the iPhone because the file could not be read or written." and then it stops syncing completely, so the rest of the songs after that don't get put on my iPhone. Please help 😟

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1

HI, so what must be done is erase the music on the iphone through itunes. Uncheck the music tab on itunes, sync iphone. Then check the music tab and sync iphone once again, i think that should resolve the issue.

I am very confused, as I have done everything but visit an apple store. I have restored, unsynced, even cleared my music to the point where my phone said there was no data in the music app. Nothing has changed! Im really dissipinted in Apple for this one. I thought Apple was supposed to be easy!

What I did today was right click the new songs I purchased on itunes (that would not play on iphone) and converted to apple lossless.It is silly as now I have to copies of the song.The apple lossless version was able to be dragged over onto iphone and works fine.

Well I managed to figure it out. I had to manually delete all the songs off of my music library with the slide and click, and then I resank it. Not the most enjoyable 30 minutes of my life deleting over 500 songs. Apple really needs to get this together.

My songs from iphone 4 s wouldnt sync to Pc after applying the latest update. All I did was press "back up phone" and thay all appeared.

Try this thread. It worked like a charm for me. Most of my songs were purchased songs that would not dowload.
