Downloading photos from iPhone to PC?

The instructions from Apple on how to download photos from iPhone 4 to a PC (Windows 7) do not work. How does one accomplish this task?

Thanks.

Step by step toturial on how to transfer photos from iphone 5S/5C to Mac:

1.Connect the device to your computer. iPhoto should automatically launch into its import window with your device's images and videos listed.

2.Click Import All. If you want only some of your images imported, select the images and videos you would like to import into iPhoto, then click the Import Selected button.

3.When the photos finish importing, you will be presented with a dialog asking whether you'd like to delete the original photos from your Camera Roll. Click Delete Photos.

Can this method transfer all photos from iPhone to Windows in one click?

Here is what I found in WikiHow to download photos from iPhone to PC (transfer photos from iPhone to computer):

  1. Connect your iPhone to your PC with the USB cable.
  2. In the list of devices, you should see your iPhone. Right-click on it and select “Import pictures and videos” from the menu.
  3. Choose the location that you want to import the photos to. By default, they will be copied to the My Pictures folder.
  4. Before you import, you will have the option to tag your photos. This will help you sort them later if you wish.
  5. Once you’ve chosen tags, click the Import button. A window will open showing the progress of the transfer. Once the import is complete, Windows Photo Gallery will open showing your recently imported photos.

As for me, you can use MobiKin Assistant for iOS. It can transfer photos from iPhone to pc easily. And you can sync more than 10 types of data from iOS device to computer, like call history, contacts, text messages, media files, etc. There are some steps to save photos from iPhone to computer

Step 1: Download, install and run the program on computer

First, you need to install iTunes to your computer. Then connect iPhone to pc through USB data cale. The program will automatic detected and scan your iPhone device.

Step 2: Preview and choose photos as you like

Click different button to preview and choose photos as you like. There is a quickly search function. You can find the target data by the function. Wait to export.

Step 3: Export photos from iPhone to computer

Click "Export" button to export and save pictures from iPhone to computer
