How do you show sender in Mail message list

Hi I've recently migrated to Lion and am finding the new layout of Mail frustrating as it shows my mail by the recipient rather than the sender. As the recipient is ususally me, I have what appears to be a inbox of emails to myself but I have to open each email (or preview it) to reveal who actually sent it to me.

Is there a way to have the sender (From field) showing in the list rather than the To field?

I need to have them sorted by Date so that the most recent messages are at the top. But when I choose View > Message Attributes the option to select "From" is already ticked but it is also greyed out.

I have temporarily fixed this by using the classic view but I would really like to know how to do this in the new view?

I have Mountain Lion

The Sent folder shows in bold letters the destination but the
Sent Mail folder is inconsistent in this respect since it shows in bold letters my own adress

(which is redundant information) and below comes in ordinary letter the destination

But this I consider a minor problem with Mail App. There are many other problems with it which I described in one of my topics.

I fixed it by simply deleteing the Sent Mail; to do this it is necessar to move all mails to Sent folder, then go to Gmail Setting - labels - and hide the IMAP.
Now it is possible to delete the ****** Sent Mail box in Mail App. And with just one Sent box life is easier. It shows the recipient in bold and on the first line, which pleases you.
