Having switched from iphone to Samsung galaxy 3 and like the switch, I just put my iPad up on eBay . with luck I can buy an android tablet without too much financial pain. I love the svelte apple products but the closed system has become annoying in the last year and there are now other good products that do in fact do a better job for my needs. There's just too many site that use flash and I'm not onto looking for workarounds etc.. I have better things to do with my time.

I think in the long run apple will suffer.

Apple should allow Flash player now. Previously it was problem for them as they were using lower hardware for this. But now hardware is fine. It does not look good, you open a website and it says flash player required and then you just cann't do anything to see the content on that. HTML 5 is good, but there are millions of websites used Flash and they are not techie people. They are not going to change it. Besides HTML 5 can not do everything like flash on all the browser.

I guess, It is also affecting millions of flash platform developer/designer/managers. Apple is always bad for developers. They just want monopoly on this. Only their software, only their devices. They can't grow if they are not making things for common people with all features.

They only have one good thing and thats Mac OS may be because they used Linux underneath. I am not very impress with new IPhone or Ipad so far, specially if I will compare it with other smart mobile platforms.

Apple: please allow Flash player on ios, it is a big leap for you.

I dont think apple is going to add Flashplayer in iOS and unfortunately Adobe drops support for the project. I searched falsh player for my iPad and found some alternatives. For the time being I stick with one of them to open flash based content. For my requirement, it is not bad, worked well.

Top 4 browsers support flash player on iPad and iPhone
