How Do You Make Cursor More Prominent In Numbers???

When working in Numbers, it is difficult to tell exactly what cell my cursor is in. Can you make the cursor frame a different color, or bolder, in order to improve ability to locate it within the document?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), ... and Parallels 6 with XP

I didn't do a very good job of defining my issue. It's really not the cursor (per se) that I want to make more prominent - it's the boundary outlining the live cell that I have selected...when working in Numbers.

For example, when selecting cell A1, I would like for the boundary to be red, or green, etc, rather than black like the rest of the spread sheet. Hope that makes better sense. Thanks for responding!

This is what mine looks like:

Between the blue selection boundary on the cell and the highlighted reference tabs at the top and left, there's a pretty good indication of which is the active cell. This is in Numbers '09 v4.0.3, running under Tiger. Is the display different in Lion?

As long as you don't have formatted cells, the standard selection boundary works fine; however, when they're formatted, you almost have to look for the small handle at the lower right corner:

As you can see, it not quite so prominent?? I'm keeping track of stats for almost 200 individuals, with 11 vertical columns, and you can imagine a full page of cells can become "blurry" at times. If I could change the Active Cell border to, for example, red, that would work.
