How to play a movie on a PC from an IPad
Hello, I have an iPad 2 and would like to play a movie on a PC, is that possible? Thank you

I don't think so. I just tried on my own iTunes account and won't play.

We normally stream from computer to iPad and not the other way round.

So, you want to STREAM a movie from the PC's storage (hard disk) to your iPad?
Tons of multimedia players are able to play files from network streams.
1, if you have your movies in iTunes, use Videos after enabling iTunes Sharing on both the desktop and iPad. It's the fastest, easiest, cleanest and a free(!!) solution.
2, if you can't transfer your videos into the desktop iTunes and/or want to host them on a UPnP / FTP / SMB etc. share, you'll need to use a third-party app. I recommend GoodPlayer for share playback EXCEPT for the single case when you want to playback H.264 content over SMB (nothing else - SMB) as, then, GoodPlayer won't let for hardware acceleration.
