In the newest iTunes screen on PC there's no Summary Tab when you click on the device. However I found it by clicking on a tiny iPhone icon in the upper left corner of the screen. It's below the main toolbar with "File" and "View". Good luck.
BTW I can't believe some folks took the time to reply to this with a troll response.

Click the phone icon at top next to Music
The phone icon was greyed out and clicking on it didn't do anything.
Great that it is working good now. Sure hope it stays that way. Mine has been consistent since the last OS X update. Another one is coming in a couple months. Who knows what will happen then......
