Computer is showing error code 0x80020025

My iMac is suddenly showing error code 0x80020025 (disc drive not supported) when I insert a blank cd. I've burned to this type/brand of cd-r in the past and have never had an issue. How do I fix it?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

I force quit the Finder, shut down, zapped the NVRAM and tried again. I was then able to burn a DVD with the finder. To zap the NVRAM, wait for the first start up chime, hold down the Command-Option-P-R keys and wait for the second start up chime. Hope this helps!

I have not had that code but I have had to reinstall a new OS X from Apple as a result of the finder screwing up even on a one month old MacBook Pro.

Finder was acting slow, sticky and many time unresponsive. You may need to reinstall OS X. It work since it removes potential additional problems. Don't reinstall from your backup or Time Machine. Once you get the new OS going then do a backup. Time Machine will do it automatically and you can go in there to retrieve something you may have lost.
