how do you complain about an app

I purchased an app which doesn't do what it says on the tin. Far from it. Bottom line is it's just a complete rip-off.

I won't go broke for the amount paid but, as a matter of principle, I'd like my money back.

I've emailed the developers but have just been ignored. Is it possible to complain/report it to Apple?

Thanks

You can try try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' button and you should then be able to click on 'report a problem' link to the right of the app.

Thanks roaminggnome, I know that. I don't want any support from Apple. I just want my money back.

If they're selling something, it should be fit for purpose. This isn't. It's much the same if I bought something from a shop. If it wasn't what it said it was, I'd be entitled to take it back and get a refund. Not so sure it's any different here.

Money-back aside (as I said, I won't go broke for 69p/$1), surely Apple need to know and need to do something about dodgy Apps...?
