New iMac. How do I get my music from iPod to new iMac?

my imac 2.4 core2duo died. i immediately bought a new 21.5" 2.8 i7 iMac. The only thing I regretted was that I lost my music catalog - imported from PC to the first iMac and added to, this included the napster hey day stuf too.

I just realized that all that old stuff is also on an old iPod that i have (how I transferred the music to the iMac 2.4 in the first place.

How do I get this music into the new 21.5" iMac? The iTunes on the new computer allows me to play it from the iPod, but not move it into the iMac.

Hi..

On the new iMac launch iTunes.

From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Authorize This Computer

For your iTunes purchases ...

Connect the iPod.

From the menu bar again, click File > Transfer Purchases From ..

For non iTunes purchases you may need a utility.

There is a new app called TunesGo that can easily transfer,

discover, download and transfer music between different

devices. You can use the app to manage iTunes music library or move music

from one device to another. The tutorial shows how to use it
