I don't think Apple has any 3rd party programs for thier proprietary connectors, especially for power. The MFi program is only for iOS devices.

Actually I just need the plug design, not the whole adapter. I want to improve it to make it easier for traveling 🙂
Be sure to factor into your plans that Apple does not license the MagSafe connector, and sues vendors who market products with MagSafe connectors. One vendor attempted to circumvent this by purchasing MagSafe adapters from Apple and removing the MagSafe connectors to create vehicle adapters, but was ultimately not successful.
I don't know whether the the AC connector on the transformer brick is proprietary.

I am not really interested in Magsafe connector or the adaptor. I am interested in the CAD drawing of travel plug. Any type. Best all of them. Thanks
If your project (product?) will be a replacement for the travel plug, and plug directly into the transformer brick, you need to find out whether that connection is proprietary and requires a license.
It will still looks very close to the current plug but safer. The proprietary for the plug's pins and sockets are mainly BS patents and likely free to use. I will check with my supplier regarding with the license later. Thanks.

Yup. It is too bulky. That's why I want to redesign =)
If you're planning on selling this "not-too-bulky" version, I, for one, would not even take a first look at it.
The current adapters are perfect.
