Rotate and edit videos

Im searching for a good app to rotate and edit videos I've taken. Im affraid to purchase any of them I get in search. imove and rotate HD came up. I go upon the rating but looking at them it seems the developers of those apps rate them to make them look better. When I actually read and research the apps they arent that great and have a lot of flaws. I dont want to waist the time and money. From the looks of it all Apple doesnt test these apps thoroughly, which is ashame. Does anyone have any real suggestions?

Yes, I have installed imovie'11. But Hi guys, this is my first time using iMovie, and I'm kinda excited about it. However, just as I tried to export a 720p clip which only lasts for under 5 minutes, it either says error -108 or error -50. I tried all the resolutions, and only the mobile (least) resolution worked. I found out that the remaining RAM started plummeting when I hit the export button. I have a brand new MacBook Pro 13" and about 400GB of free HDD space, no other applications were running at that point of time. I tried cleaning caches, resetting iPhoto cache, deleting iMovie cache file, clean rebooting, repaired permissions and HDD, nothing worked. What just happened? Does it mean I need a new RAM upgrade???

Hey Mirage,

I would recommend AVS Video Editor. It's aimed at the novice user but has all the features of a professional software.

It's a really good and user-friendly video editing software which allows you to edit and mix any combination of audio, video and photos. It also has loads of features like effects, text, split screen, reverse, slow-motion etc, plus you can upload your video directly to YouTube through the application. There's a free lite version and a Pro (paid) version available

You can check it out here: http://www.avs-video-editor.org/

Hope this help
