Connecting iPod Shuffle to Speaker Dock

I have solved my problem of connecting my iPod Shuffle to my speaker dock and I wish to share my findings:

The issue is to get the signal out of my iPod Shuffle by using the earphone jack female connector so the connection cable has to have a 3.5mm male audio connector on one end. The dock has a 30-pin male connector into which fits the non-Shuffle iPods, and iPhone, 30-pin female connector. Thus, the other end of the cable must have a 30-pin female dock connector.

I found 2 cables with a 3.5mm male audio connector on one end and a 30-pin female dock connectoron the other end:

1. Radtech 13-300 ProCable® DockAdapt™ 3.5mm Male Audio to 30-pin Female Audio Docks adapter at www.radtech.us (at $19 + $4.50 shipping) and www.amazon.com (at $15 + $5.60 shipping).

2. OEM iPhone's 30-pin Dock Female to Regular Audio 3.5mm Plug Cable (Product Code#:UF002609) at www.usbfever.com (at $10 + $5 shipping).
