Script menu has disappeared

I just realized that the script icon has disappeared from my menu bar! How could this have happened? I know it's possible to turn off the battery, Wi-Fi, volume, and other icons, but I thought the script icon was supposed to be up there in the menu bar all the time. Otherwise, I can't run any scripts! (without switching to the Finder)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get it back? Thanks!

Hi, Trevor and R-C-R!
"I just wish I knew how that option got disabled in the first place... "
(a) Here's a guess:

You can click on any menu extra's icon in the menu bar and (⌘ - drag) it to a diffferent location within the right-hand side of the menu bar, or off the menu bar entirely. (It makes a tiny poof! like Dock animiation.)

Not hard to do inadvertently.

(b) Btw... another way to locate and re-enable a menu extra (e.g., Script Menu.menu) is from its path:

All of the menu extras are located within /System/Library/Core Services/ Menu Extras/. [1]
Double-click an icon to enable the menu extra (script menu, etc.).
You may want to visit this folder simply because some menu extras, like the Eject menu, aren't accessible via System Prefs.
Please note that menu extras are reserved for use by Apple — for good reasons. 3rd-party "menulets" may cause significant system incompatibilities.
HTH!
Regards to you both,
Dean
