Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I format the margins for the dialogue bubbles using iBook Author, within iBook Author, the margins look right:
But when it is published, the margins (or perhaps the font size) looks much different:
iBook, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
I'm having a similar strange situation where I set the alignment and character spacing in iBooks Author and it appears the way i want it but when i preview on my ipad the spacing and alignment don't hold up. I then did a .pdf preview and the spacing was how I see it in ibooks author (i.e. correct). Is this a bug? Should I be concerned? I certainly dont want to publish something that when finalized doesnt appear how it should. Any ideas? thanks in advance!
note: by the way, I'm using the Kailasa font in this case...
The rendering engine in iBooks doesn't render fonts quite the same way as preview on a Mac. Spacing and character width can differ slightly. You need to preview the book on the iPad and correct any alignment issues before uploading the book.

The Kailasa font is intended for Tibetan script. Is that what you are writing your text in? If not, use some other font intended for the language you are actually composing.
Why are the published margins/fonts different from what I see in iBook Author?
