How do you AirPrint to older printers?

Is there anyway to AirPrint to an older printer that is plugged into another computer that is on the same WiFi?

I have a printer that is wired to my old HP computer. The printer is not WiFi. Just got a Mac, is there anyway to link the printer to the new Mac?

iMac, iOS 5

There are two ways to accomplish this;

1. Activate AirPrint in Mac OS X. Then you can print to a USB printer connected to your Mac if your Mac is on the same network as the iPad. The Mac must be powered up to print.

2. You can get a 3rd party printing app from the iTunes App Store that will also accomplish basically the same thing. Look for an app called PrintCentral.

There is also Print n Share as an option. It had a 'send to computer' option I believe. ALso look on your printer manufaturer's web site. They may also have some apps or ways to make it work. For example I have a kodak wifi printer and Kodak has a firmware upgrade that allows it to work with google docs and you can e-mail your print jobs to your printer. So another option for you to explore.
