2.5 Mbps is the recommended minimum connection for Standard definition content, you'll need to wait for HD content to download a while before you can start to watch it.
Thank you 'Winnie',
I presume the programme/film is stored somehow before I start to watch. Does that mean I can keep the film/programme?
Basically how does it work in real life situations in the UK.
My old TV could record programmes but not this new one. So I suppose I am really looking to replace/enhance that capability with Apple TV. So am I on the right track?
If not which track should I be on??
Lots of questions - Sorry but I find TV/Video/Film jargon so ****** confusing 😕
Rentals download to volatile memory on the Apple TV, they disappear as soon as you turn it off, watch something else or they expire.
You can rent and buy on your computer which doesn't disappear (except when rentals expire) and stream them to the Apple Tv along with any of your own content you have in iTunes on your computer.
Thank You again.
Question answered. I'll go away and mull it over.
