iTunes Match error 4001

i know theres a lot of discussions about this and topics, but i am from canada and i have a desktop. Ive tried everything from re-making my playlist to deauthorize my account to even completing reinstalling itunes. I have even tried selecting each individual song and clicking "Add to iCloud" and nothing seems to be working. Apple's Tech support have no idea and i want this to work any advise or other ways of attempting to get my music on icloud for my apple tv?

I just did the shift+Turn Off iTunes Match again for the 50th time and then turned it back on and wouldn't you know it, NOW it seems to be working..

So, my recommendation is to place a ticket with Apple and ask for your $$ to be refunded.. This seems like something within the ID on Apple's site.. OPEN A TICKET!!

I know how to fix this. I had the same problem and I researched this extensively and this is how it was fixed. You are getting this error message because itunes is storing the cache and then every time you are re trying to use imatch it is using the old cache and thus causing the same error message. Follow the directions on this post exactly. It will work. Let me know.

Hi guys! In my case the problem (error 4002) it was because of I've sete up a windows machine with itunes match too. The problem was solved after uninstalling itunes on windows machine. It works pretty well on ipod, ipad and macbook pro, all of them have the latest release of ios and itunes, but I'm lookink forward to the next update of itunes for windows can correct this issue. Thanks!

Actually, hats not strictly true.

While Apple's TOS say this, its only for their own purposes.... It's the customers right to get their money back if it's not working as expected.

While this is just to back Apple up, and yes, their not required to do so, usually they will,, since they must keep the customer happy...

Thus, use this to your advantage.... and keep complaining to them if it doesn't...

I got a free iPhone 5s out of then because of 7 constant grueling weeks of complains every single day,,, even right up to management. and emailed Tim.. Personally, I reckon Apple just wanted to give it to me to i'd shut up and go away, but Apple's terrible services as of late brings this out.

They have only bought this on themselves... Unless their services start improving that is. I got the same error in iTunes tonight..

Seriously though,,, if people want their money back, all you gotta do it lie.... Tell them them you are unable to download or something, and they'll be more than happy to refund..... ( not a sure fire way, but anything is better than just taking their agreements seriously.)
