Have you got Settings > Safari > JavaScript turned 'on', and can you access any sites ? Unless you are debugging a site then you may also want to make sure that Settings > Safari > Advanced > Debug Console is 'off'.

Can you access any sites ? You could try the 'standard' Safari troubleshooting :

Clear Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History

If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Do you have this problem on just one site or does every site you try to visit give this error. If only one site it could be a problem with that site and not your iPad. You might tell us what site that it so someone an check it.

How do you know it is a javascript error? If you know this then there must be an error message. How do you know it isn't a Flash issue rather than a javascript error? Why won't you provide the requested information? Are we to continue guessing? You still have not provided the address of the site or the error message.

You should have started with this one. This is not a JavaScript "error" in the true meaning of the word (referring to something iOS can't execute / parse). It means your online storage is full and still tried to add something to it (e.g., an image).

Does the same happen if you try accessing the page from a third-party browser? They use a different JavaScript engine.

BTW, what OS is on your iPad 2? Pre-iOS 5? (iOS 5 has received a brand new JS engine, this is why I'm asking.)

did u ever get your issue resolved? i'm having the same problem. I go to a standard website like dicks sporting goods and I can't access certain links or see all graphics. when i turn the debugging console on, it shows errors like "javascript: error undefined, referenceerror: can't find variable : jQuery or can't find variable $ i don't know how to clear bugs or fix the java script

Your issue is totally different Christine, it is un-related to the original issue in this thread and is not iOS specific.

Your issue is caused by jQuery either not being loaded, or being loaded twice. If it isn't your site there is nothing you can do about, other than disabling debug mode.

You have to provide us the exact error message and the url of the site. Otherwise we are just guessing at solutions. The issue is likely poorly written javascript on the site.

So it isn't a javascript error.
