iTunes Match stuck at "Sending information to Apple"

Hi folks,

I found a solution in case your MATCH is still buggy...

JUST BOOT YOUR MAC HOLDING THE SHIFT KEY (until you see a progress bar).

Then in itunes disable and re-enable iTunes Match.

It should rescan all your library and eventually works.

At the end just reboot your Mac normally.

This worked for me ...

I have a iMac at work, mac book air at home, iphone. All I really wanted was ad free radio at work. (No more obnoxious McDonnalds comercials is worth the $25 to me). Anyway, I had all the issues everyone else is talking about, it scanned some, and hung forever (24 hrs) "sending Info to Apple"

So this is my recipe:

1. Click Stop on teh sending info to apple page.

2. This enabled me to turn OFF itunes match. (Menu Store>Turn Off Itunes MAtch)

3. This enabled a new button on my account page. (Menu Store>View Account(Your_account_here))...

4. Now in My Account>iTunes in the Cloud section I have a new button: Add this computer.

5. Click - wait for it .... POOF! ITs all working!

Don't know if this is a fluke, but seeing how buggy my experience has been with this program, it's worth sharing.

Simply logging out of iTunes Match and logging back in worked for me! It's 2014, Apple. Let's patch this, please.

All these "solutions" you provide here are the same - Turning Match Off and On again is the only thing that helps!

For me I have to turn Match off and on eveytime I add more songs.

We paid for this service and it's just frustrating!

Turning Match off and back on works but it's only temporary. This is happening to me on all the computers associated with my Match account (MacBook, home PC and work PC).

I'm getting tired of having to turn off & on Match.

And after the two hours working another 48 hours of not working. Apple this ervive is *****. I am waiting for my renewal to go through and then reporting them to the trading standards office for taking money for a product that does not work.... I won't say what the word for that is as the post will be deleted....

Still awful. Tried many of the suggestions on here - now posting in TOTAL frustration.

I don'y do downloads - I only have music collected over a forty year period. The only way I have found that worls is to upload one album at a time - as I work to afford Apple products - this means one per day.

So, thats taken up the mext three and a half years of my life.

Normally a fan of Apple products - but this ***** big time. Truly awful product.

Turning Match off and on works on my Mac. Irritating to have to do, but it's easy and seems to fix it for a while. I'll be happy when I don't have to. Before I learned that trick, it was really frustrating.

Can confirm turning off Match and clicking the "Add this computer" fixed it....

C'mon Apple....just looking at this thread it's clear this issue has been going on since you released this product. This is pathetic.

I was having the same problem, but after turning off iTunes Match on my iPhone and other computer (also hooked up to Match) it worked for me no problem.

I have to vent my frustration on this rubbish piece of software.

I have spent far too many hours of my life uploading CDs to iTunes for match to keep getting stuck. frustratingly it is stuck on the last song 😠

I have turned match off and on. unloaded my library and reloaded and the turned match on and off and get a real intermittent service.

Same issue here. I have to switch off itunes match in itunes to update. This is not how this feature used to work. Any devs out there with any info??
