I would like to know the specs of the original battery that comes in the Ipod Video 30gb. I am wanting to buy a replacement battery, but I want to make sure it is the exact same. What is the mAh and voltage? Does anyone know where I can buy the same battery?

You can get them off eBay or Amazon, just search for "30GB IPod battery", these are OEM or new, unused.

Yep it is ok, polymer has bigger capacity, 580mAH instead of 480mAH, but relatively more expensive.
