I am in grade seven andgoing to high school next year and I am saving up for a new laptop and a friend told me about the MacBook Pro but I don't know whether to get the 13" or the 15".
I will be using it for gaming and school work and I would like the cheapest one possible, but I want it to be fast and accurate so it doesn't freeze like my current windows 7 pc.

I think that I should just get the best one so that I have no problems even though it will be dearer. I don't think that my mum can trust amazon with our previous experience.

And even if that's the case, I'm sure that there will be an Apple drive, just as there are third-party drives, that will fit the bill.
I only use my optical drive when I'm plugged in, anyway. I do use it a lot, but not on battery power. If I had to use one as an 'indoor' drive only, I'd probably buy an LG Blu-Ray reader/writer anyway (which I might do at some point as I use my drive principally for backups.
I like to watch movies on airline flights. It makes the time go by much faster. I could do what I see MacBook Air users do.
