iTunes won't open on my Windows 7 PC.

I was prompted to update earlier today, and then iTunes wouldn't open anymore.

I have uninstalled iTunes & supports, restarted computer and reinstalled. iTunes still won't open.

My music is stil accessible on the computer in My Library, but I can't use the iTunes program at all.

Please help!

Possible Solution:

1. Download the 64 bit installer.

2. Open a Run command and delete your temporary files (type %temp% and delete everything that will allow you to do so.

3. Uninstall your current version of iTunes.

4. Shut the computer down and leave it off for around 30 seconds.

5. Restart the computer and wait a moment for everything to settle down.

6. Run the 64 bit installer as an administrator, if you are not in an administrative account.

This fixed my issue and I hope it is that simple for you as well.
