Stolen Ipad--If I use remote wipe, would the "Find the ipad" still work?

I've set password for my ipad2(without 3G), If i wipe out the ipad, would the "find the ipad" still work when it is connected to network?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1.1

No, the wipe will remove all content from the iPad including the 'Find My iPad' (it will no longer be associated with your id) - so you will no longer be able to try and locate it.

No, because you would have wiped it...

can you not find on find my ipad..i lost my iphone 4 found it 2 day's later.

if you have password on it will find it .

I need help, i Had an iPad in my house and now i cant find it.

All of a sudden my Friend has an iPad 2 just like mine, i have the serial number of my fiends iPad

If I call apple would they be able to tell me my iPad's serial to see if they match?
