Stolen Ipad--If I use remote wipe, would the "Find the ipad" still work?

I've set password for my ipad2(without 3G), If i wipe out the ipad, would the "find the ipad" still work when it is connected to network?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1.1

No, the wipe will remove all content from the iPad including the 'Find My iPad' (it will no longer be associated with your id) - so you will no longer be able to try and locate it.
