Dear Community Members,

I recently ran a Support Chat with one of Apple's support team. I have now found out myself how to actually fix the problem.

First, if you have created your Apple ID on the website and want to get rid of payment options via the Review Info link, do these steps.

- On your device, Go to Home Screen > Settings > iTunes and App Stores

Your Apple ID should be displayed. Click on that.* This will hopefully take you to the same page as on iTunes on your computer, just in a device version. It will ask you to review your information again. Type in the necessary details leaving the Billing and Payment Info blank. Hit continue. Hopefully, you device will be free of the error message and it will have a Congratulations message. Hope this helped.

Please like if this solved your issue.

*Oh and it will give you the following options:

- View Apple ID

- Sign Out

- iForgot

- Cancel

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to Apple.

If you followed the instructions on the HT2589 page when creating the account then you will get the 'none' option on the payment details screen. If you didn't then you will need to enter card details before you will be able to download anything from the store with it.

This is not true. I have a credit of $249.00. I am continually asked for my credit card. Apple wants your credit card even though you have a credit! This is stupid. Just another stupid requirement of Apple and their non-thinking. I buy Apple cards and NEVER put in my credit card, but now Apple won't stand for this. I am furious over this crap. I have an iMac, a MacBook Pro, an iPad, and an iPhone. I am a fan but this is stupid.

Ok, this happened to me earlier. I use an iPad and here is how I did it.

- Go to Settings, on your homepage

- Scroll down to where it says 'iTunes and App Store' and click on it.

Now there should be two boxes in which you fill I. Your Apple ID information, Email address and password. Then it comes up with a message somewhere along the lines of, 'this account has not yet been used/ reviewed in the iTunes Store yet.

- Click Reveiw. Then it should come up with 'Store (Australia in this case) then click next and agree to the Terms and conditions.

- It only came up with, Visa, MasterCard and Amex for me and there was no 'none' and you couldn't unstick the box.

What you have to do, is scroll down and fill out your other information birthday etc.

It is almost vital that you fill out a phone number, (mobile, or home phone).

- Then scroll back up to where the credit card options WERE ticked. There should then be a 'none' option, click that then fill in your iTunes Gift Card code which is a 16 digdet code up the top which begins with an 'X'. Then make sure you fill out the exact characters correctly, making sure you are using caps for the letters.

- Then click done or save!!

Hope this worked for you guys. :)
