Interuppted software update and new startup screen comes on stays grey with logo and beeps continuously 3 times. Tried safe restart reset pram. No luck any suggestions?

Three beeps at startup usually means that there is a RAM problem. I would open the MBP and reseat the RAM. Perhaps an SMC and Pram resets may also be in order.

Three beeps at startup usually means bad or not seated properly ram. This has come up a couple times the past few weeks. Try removing and reseating the ram modules and try restarting.
If possible, restart on one module at a time to see if one is bad.
