Is Windows even installing?
I started installing Windows 7 2 hours ago. I have three icons flashing on/off on my screen:
1. Apple logo
2. Circle with a line through it.
3. File with a question mark on it.
Is this what I should see during install?

Apple has a tech note on what models support 64-bit Windows and which fall into the (extra hard) unsupported (but does not mean it can't be done) category - but will have more trouble booting from Windows 7 DVD as is.
www.apple.com/support/bootcamp is where everything is found or found from
I paid $200 for the Vista Home Premium completr OS. It san't just the upgrade. I didn't have any earlier versions of Windows. I could not find it anywhere for less then $200. Aso got a $25 Best Buy gift card. So I paid $175 for it.
The installation worked. I tried again, but this time partitioned only at 32GB. I don't know if that would have anything to do with it. So, i Installed Windows 7 on a late 2006 iMac. Supposingly, Windows 7 can go on an iMac which is 2007 or later. I did just get a new hard drive, in case thatmakes a diffence.
Thank you for your help.
