My granddaughter wrote all over the keyboard with an ink pen. I used alcohol pads but that didn't budge it. I had read where someone used fingernail polish removed on the screen and it worked but I wasn't sure it I should try that or not.

My granddaughter wrote all over the keyboard of my laptop with an ink pen. I tried to clean it off with alcohol pads/ lens cleaners but that didn't work. I had read in on old discussion to use fingernail polish on the screen to remove ink but I wasn't sure I should do the same on the keyboard. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Fingernail polish on the screen? Not advisable.

I thought you just wanted to get rid of some ink on the keyboard.

To get rid of the ink on your keyboard, get a cotton swab or q-tip and use nail polish remover to do so. Do not do it very hard since some nail polish remover will leave white smudges on your keys.

I suggest just to leave it alone. Ink will wear off in a week or two.
