I agree the notes syncing defintely needs some improvement.
In setting
iCloud - Notes ON
Mail Contacts Calendars - iCloud - Notes ON
Mail Contacts Calendars - email1 - Notes ON
Mail Contacts Calendars - email2 - Notes ON
Notes - Defalt Account - email1
In the Notes app
iCloud - Last note dated Dec 24, 2012
email1 - Last note Feb 12, 2013
email2 - no notes
On my PC, I go to the Notes folder in email1
I have notes up to May 6, 2013, the last note I entered.
Note, these are only my notes assigned to email1. The iClould notes are not in this folder.
On iCloud.com, I go to Notes, and do see a copy of all my (iCloud) notes.
I moved all the notes in the Notes folder to a folder called Notes2. The email 1 notes in the Notes app disappeared. I then moved everything back, and only notes up to Feb 12, 2013 were restored.
In trying to figure what is happening, I created a new note, May 15, 2013 and it went to my iCloud group.
On March 17, 2013, I had a similar issue and had to copy and paste all my notes. Similar to above, I created a Notes2 folder, moved all the notes, and then accessed the notes through my iPhone email app. Copying and pasting each one, about 40 notes.
Does anyone know of a way other than cutting and pasting, to get the notes from Feb 12, 2013 to present restored?
Is there a way to consolidate the iCloud and email1 notes? My preference would be to have everything in the Yahoo/Notes folder, but can live with an iCloud only solution.
Anyway from preventing this from recurring?
Is this a problem? My iPhone has both email1 and email2 set up. I occosionally use my iPad. My iPad also has both email1 and email2 set up. My wife occasionally needs access to my email, so she has email1 and email2 set up on her iPhone. She does use notes heavily on her phone. She has a seperate iClould account. Is syncing across all these iOS devices a problem?
Thank you,
