iOS 6 activation not working? (Not registered)

I can't seem to get back to 5.1.1.

Tried DFU just get an error 3194 cannot restore

If you are really having problems, go into Xcode. Go to the Orginsation window I think and try to do a restore from there. They are right that if you are having problems you should prolly wait for the release in October to upgrade to IOS6

I've got problems no with the internet, Store won't connect, Safari won't search Google. Someone got a solution?

alt + Check for update? Is this after I restore my phone back to ios 5.1.1? Help! Step my step would be nice!

I had the same issue as most of these people with my ipad3 not activating. So i put it in DFU restored back to 5.1.1 and did an upgrade instead of a restore and BOOOM!!! worked like a charm..

first bugs i see:

- email is not working for me.

- maps crash everytime i try and search

The update instead of restore worked like a charm!

So, with this method, the activation should work?

on my iphone 4 and ipad 3 upgrading instead of restoring worked pretty good 🙂

I installed and authorized iOS6 ok on my 16GB iPad 3 using OPTION-RESTORE, but could not authorize my 32GB iPad 3 - kept saying server unavailable.

Resetting my cable modem gave me a new IP address and then I was able to activate.

Could be coincidence. Anyone having problems authorizing should change their IP by reboting their DSL/cable modem. It worked right away after rebooting.

I don't see a way to get back to IOS5 since the IOS6 firmware just puts you into install mode. not DFU.

I may try the suggestion of KurtAL and go into Xcode to see if I can get back to iOS 5.1.1 there.

I used the RESTORE method with iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S and iPad 2 without issue to update to iOS 6.

iPad 3 hung on a server activation issue. Also using the RESTORE method would not allow iTunes to recognize it. Using the UPGRADE method worked fine. So I don't believe it was an issue with Apple's servers.

Has anyone been able to use RESTORE to install iOS 6 on the first try with the iPad 3?

yes, my 16GB wifi iPad 3 restored on the first try. My 32GB iPad3 did not - I reset my public IP and then it worked too...
