When will iPod Touch 4th gen get siri

Undoubtedly i agree that it won't. The GPU is looking much better too. I just wanted to set things straight with all the questions being asked. It apears that the people who post that its twice as powerful as the previous ipod touch are not the mechanical engineers (in a manner of speaking) that deal with the real complexities of the product.

Siri will come to iPod Touch 4generation in the fall, which is soon.

If you all could see in iOS 6, it states for iPhone,iPod Touch, and iPad.

I'm pretty sure if we have a speaker on the iPod Touch (At the bottom beside the charging port) we will get it.

no only ipod 5g will have siri. if u go to ios 6 preview and u go all the way down were it says compatible and u look down in the small letters it says only ipod 5g and the new iphone and ipad will have siri

IPod 4th gen will not be receiving Siri, if you jailbreak you can. I find it pathetic that the jail breaking community can easily put working Siri on iPod 4gen but apple cant.

Actually, this picture will show what iOS 6 is going to work with.

Apparently, it will work with iPod Touch 4g and Siri will be included. (:

The picture you posted shows what devices will be compatible with iOS 6, but not what devices will be compatible with Siri.

Hi, I really wish that the ipod touch 4g could have siri but if you scroll the very bottom of this page:http://www.apple.com/ios/ios6/#siri and look at #2, it doesn't state that Siri is compatible for the iTouch 4. Im so sorry i'm very disapointed too.

The usual reason why something isn't on an ipod even though "it could be", is because it will not work reliably or to a set standard of performance.

I would prefer the Apps on my iPod to be reliable. Woudn't you?

Everybody that os saying "that if you jailbreak it you can get it, so it should have it on the 4th gen in IOS 6" well 1st off when you jailbreak it, it isnt running through the processing speed. Its running through a server that determines what siri does. So stop complaining. Just buy a new iPod or be content with an iPod without Siri.
