When will iPod Touch 4th gen get siri

I have been looking at the iOS 6 preview and have wondered if iPod will get Siri.

I saw down the bottom of the page that the iPod touch 4th gen is compatible with iOS 6.

But I'm not 100% sure that it will run on it. Could someone that is certain tell me?

Also, there is one other thing. A lot of the apps that I download crash on my iPod.

Is it just my iPod or are all 4th Generations like that?

Pick you lazy finger up and go look at the facts. They are all over this very website.

You quoting someone else's wild guess doesn't make it a fact!

  1. Clifton questioned how coolbeanz had "managed to get Siri working" on his iPod Touch. We've yet to hear how that has been achieved, so no facts yet.
  2. Apple has made it very clear, Siri is not going to be on the 4th gen Touch, depsite all the wildly inaccurate posts in this thread or elsewhere.
  3. As a direct consequence of Apple's decleration that Siri will only be available on "some" devices, which does not include the 4th gen Touch, can you tell us; what is the point of continuing this thead? It simply gets false hope up in the minds of those who don't want to hear the truth the easily led. Simply reading some of the other posts in this thread makes it clear that some people are simply never going to listen to the obvious.

I am trying to say that you can only get Siri on iPod touch if its jailbroken. But some were complaining about how "pathetic it was " that apple cant integrate it into the iPod touch 4th gen. So i was trying to explain that a jailbreak runs from a server, Not from the processor and is not integrated into the iOS. I am not arguing the point that Siri is on iPod touch and can be, because we all know it cant from the iOS 6 download and specs. So you must have misunderstood where i was coming from.

And you have obviously misunderstood Apple's Terms of Use for these discussions, hosted by Apple, which forbid the promotion of jailbreaking. Don't be surprised if your post gets removed.

If you read the following, perhaps it will explain everything to you; http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3743

Unauthorized modification of iOS has been a major source of instability, disruption of services, and other issues

Its not that apple can't do it, its that they won't. Its a simple marketing ploy to make money off of a program that they know is eyecandy to the customers.

Uh huh!

And you're a technical wizard, are you? You understand all the complexities of chip design, memory requirements, and so on, do you?

Perhaps then, you should design something similar for the open platform devices, and make yourself a fortune.
