In a related story: GM has announced that all vehicles manufactured prior to December 31st, 2012 will cease to work when the 2013 model is introduced. If your car ceases to function due to this built in obsolescence while you are driving on the freeway, please pull off the travelled portion of the highway as quickly as possible.

Something must be wrong with my original iPad. I bought it nearly four years ago and it still works just fine.

Philly_Phan Some people are like slinkies... Totally useless but still a lot of fun when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Can you reinstall or install the latest bug fix for The PDF Max Pro App?

No, because I don't have that app.

Will the App Store let you purchase and install it?

If not, then why not?

This is not an isolated case.

Not one of those have any official information. They are all offshoots of a release by one "usually reliable Apple Source", comments from other reporters, repeat ad nauseum. And it is geared around an expected June release date. But the last two versions (and iPhones) were on Oct. 12 and Sept. 12. Why would 7 be expected in June?

And you need to contact the developer of Max PDF Pro about your other problem.

* Time Magazine, 2/5/96: “One day Apple was a major technology company with assets to make any self respecting techno-conglomerate salivate. The next day Apple was a chaotic mess without a strategic vision and certainly no future.”

* BusinessWeek, 10/16/95: “Having underforecast demand, the company has a $1 billion-plus order backlog….The only alternative: to merge with a company with the marketing and financial clout to help Apple survive the switch to a software-based company. The most likely candidate, many think, is IBM Corp.”
