PC properties to Mac Get Info.

Hello All

If someone adds a comment or anything else to one of the summary fields on a PC's file properties (Right click Properties), is there a way for someone to read that usin a Mac's Get Info (CMD click)? To be more specific, one person is creating screenshots of webpages on a PC and adding the URL to the comment section on the summary tab on file properties. But when the file is sent to Mac uses, all the Get Info fields are blank. We're trying to keep the Web URLS with the files (generally jpegs) so Mac recipients (on Imacs) to copy the URLs from the file properties ( Get Info) and paste them into a browser to verify the sties form which the screenshots were taken.

Anyone know how to solve this or any work arounds?

Thanks.

The comment field in the File menu -> Get Info generally isn't easy to copy from PC to Mac file formats. JPEGs aren't very good at holding metadata, unless you edit a file's EXIF data. That a Mac with http://www.lemkesoft.com/ 's GraphicConverter can read. So if you can find a PC software that edits a file's EXIF data, that might be a start to getting data on JPEG files to move around.
