how to change your app store to another country using the same email???

I moved from Asia to Europe and want change the App store as well as the payment method since I am no longer at my previouse location.

I could change the payment method but not the store location.

Since I use the same Email I have a hard time to change the store since my email is already used for the Asian store.


Anybody can help

I hope you got the credit for helping this thread, thank you for chiming in, the original poster made it so unbelievably confusing, and unnecessarily difficult, not to mention the whole fancy loud obnoxious music video used was useless and did not work after all that nonsense-lol, thanks to your simple easy and correct assistance, I could laugh at that silly video. Otherwise I'd just be more frustrated and irritated at this problem. In fact your help was exactly what was asked for, NOT that video, it was off topic and focused on the iTunes Store I think, which is not the topic here. THANKS AGAIN Alesitis!

My problem is that my account has somehow wound up in the Japanese App Store, even though I'm in the U.S. It's ben this way since yesterday, when I clicked on the App Store button for a new app on the Audiobus website. I didn't notice I was in the Japanese store until I clicked on the Buy button and it told me my account doesn't work there and that I have to use the U.S. store. So, now I am trying to get my App Store app reset to the U.S. store but it keeps opening in the Japan App Store, instead. Someone answered my post on the Apple Support Forum and told me I have tap my user ID in the App Store, but there is no such thing there and never has been, so I don't know what he's talking about. There is no menu in the App Store app that has anything at all to do with my account.

Folks mixed and match stores in this forum so I can't tell what store you are using; the Mac App Store on a Mac or the iTunes App Store on an iOS device.


In either iTunes or the Mac App Store on a Mac in the Store menu sign out of your account (AppleID) and sign back in. The store will change to the appropriate store for which your account is authorized to buy.


On an iOS device, open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.
