I changed my apple id online, but it did not change on my phone. Is it supposed to change automatically?

I did...i chaged apple id and pass too.

Let me give u an example.

I went to appleid.apple.com, change my appleid (email address) and pass.... later, i accidentally used my old appleid-pass combination and it accepted it naturally.Same thing with icloud.com.

At this point, it is a bit serious for me and i should try find a solution.

It appears that for some reason, Apple kept your old ID and password. I would suggest that if you can log in using your old ID and password, that you do so and change that password.

Did try that too...but while logged in with the old combo, when i try to change the pass it doesn't accept the old one at the "old password " field. hahahaha...crazy little thing called apple!!!

I should really find a way to fix it!

i have problem with my apple id on my iphone. when i want to download program or games its show an error which tell me your apple id is disable.

This hasn't worked on mine, I have tried doing it on my computer and doing it on my phone and I have switched it off to double check and it still won't do it? I have never even had the email it is saying as an apple ID either so I don't understand?

I have done extremecarbon's solution enough times to qualify for the definition of insane. Still shows old id on iphone and ipad. I'm pass frustrated.
