Retina MBP - Missing Features

Has anyone else noticed that the new Retina Display MBP no longer has the following:

IR receiver for the Apple Remote

Sleep/Wake Light (although it's hard to tell if this is missing without seeing it up close...)

Battery Indicator Button & lights

Anybody got one yet who can verify?

I don't know about anyone else, but I quite liked the visual indicators so that you could tell whether the MBP successfully entered sleep mode, and see the remaining charge level.

Bummer...

It's not missing anything. It may not come with those things you listed but that doesn't mean the are missing. They just aren't included in this New model.

When the Unibodies came out they weren't missing a removable battery. The Unibody never came with a removable battery so it couldn't be missing.

By your own logic: when unibodies came out they had the indicator lights both for sleep/wake and battery status. Now we have retina with same unibody structure - but the lights are missing! 🙂😉

Never came with a removable battery, eh? Would you like to see a picture of my unibody with a removable battery? I'm pretty sure I'm not hallucinating it.
