m audio pro fire 610 interface not working with Mac, will Mt Lion have updated drivers?

I cannot use my profire 610 due to apple not working via firewire with this device.

Due to drives not compatible. will this be update in Mt. lion? I cannot use protools at this time and it is very frustraiting.

it just asks me to restart the computer when I start it with the firewire connected to the device (not hot swapping when the computer is on.)

all drivers from M-audio have been downloaded. and protools software has loadded succesfully.
